Trimline Treadmill Reviews

Trimline treadmills are in the mid-price category, which is very crowded and competitive. Only the best machines will stand out from the others and that's just what these machines manage to do. The following review of Trimline treadmills shows you why.

Trimline treadmills have only been on the market since 1994. Brothers Bill, Joe and Bob Heb started the company with this simple promise: offer top-quality, user-friendly treadmills at affordable prices. They've kept their promise and the company's products get some of the best ratings in the industry, matching the performance of more expensive models.

The company's machines are priced around $1,500 to $2,500.In this price range models usually come with 2 hp motors and 18" treadbelts. The higher-end models give you that little bit more, with 2.5 hp motors and 20" treadbelts. The machines also have good cushioning, stability, and are pretty quiet.

But what really makes this company's hardware stand out from others in its class is that the company is prepared to back up its claims about each unit being extremely well-built by giving each one fantastic warranties. You get a whopping 30 year warranty on frames and a 2 year warranty on parts and electronics. There's an unheard of 30 year motor and a 2 year labor warranty on its higher priced treadmills. Lower priced models still come with an incredible 10 year motor and 1 year labor warranty. No other company offers a 30 year warranty on its treadmills motor.

Here are the specs on the models currently on offer.

As you can see from the brief specs above you get great features for a reasonable price. However, Trimline treadmills are not perfect. Although you get a well built machine, the control panels can be a little too basic for some. The more expensive models do come with better consoles; it's just a shame that you don't get a decent console with all models.

Also, they are very steady when in use; this is because of the weight of the machine. However the fold down version of the t345 treadmill may fold easily but you're going to need help to stow it away as it weighs a hefty 365 lbs.

Finally, some customers have made remarks about the owner's manual being a little bit light on information: heavy machines, light manuals.

Most reviews agree that Trimline treadmills are for people who want a durable machine that is 100% backed up by the company who made it: and that is exactly what you bet if you buy one of its products.
